Patio

We extended our back patio to double in length. A lot more room out there for entertaining. Now we just need to get some patio furniture and decorate a little bit. We also plan on adding anther patio cover as well.

New Truck

It's been a while since i've last logged on. Wanted to share pictures of our new truck we got a few weeks ago.

It's a 2004 GMC 1500 Lots of cool upgrades. It's got a 6 inch lift and 35in tires. Luckily there's nurf bars on the side to help me get in.

We Got Trees!

When we bought our house, our front yard was landscapped desert style, but our backyard was all dirt. It's definitely going to take time for what we want to do, but we got started. Over the weekend, the nearby nursery was having a huge sale trying to get rid of their tress, so everything was 50% off. We got 3 tress for a little over $500. Not a bad deal. All three tress have a growth of about 5-6 feet per year! Here's a few before and after shots.

We want to add a raised planter in each back corner, put some mini palm tress and a few plants and flowers and add a few lighs to add some drama. We also want to add another slab of concrete to our exsisting patio to double the size for our entertaining.

Halloween

Here's a couple pictures from our Halloween. We ended up having a little get together the night after Halloween since Halloween fell on month end for Scott, and he usually works late.

I absolutely love this song. I found it on a photographers website and they had it as background music. I loved this song but they didn' have the artist name listed or the song title. I searched for days until I found it. Here it is. Hope you like it.

Jobs

Finally had a job interview today. Looks promising, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'll know by the end of the week. It's tough out there if you're trying to find a new job. I quit my last job without having another one lined up which was a risk, but Scott assured me that we would financially be fine until I found a job.

The job is nothing fancy, just a typical receptionist job. But it's exactly what I was looking for ... Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week, and no weekends. It's a steady job, great company, and with all the benefits. Once I get a job, I can focus getting my business going.

Let's hope that I come bearing good news on Friday.
